Interview With Urban City Magazine

Two Des Moines High School Entrepreneurs strive for success with hot new clothing line.

Roosevelt High School Sophomores Asante Scott and Devonte Fristo have set forth on their success early. Founders of Dippi Clothing, these young men are making headlines. They went from sitting at the kitchen table with their Aunt Lori Scott brainstorming to acquiring their brand logo in only 4 hours and the website up and running in a week. “We had to ask to use a logo we found online but we were denied. So we had our own made.” said Lori Scott. The Dippi Clothing brand is highly confident in the premium quality of their product that it will sell itself.

The pricing is made affordable for anyone to purchase. When ordering be aware that the men’s sizes might run a little big and for the ladies it runs a little fitted. The packaging, shipping, and printing is all done by the company so you can expect to see your merchandise at your doorstep sooner than many other retailers. Although Dippi Clothing is running at full speed Asante and Devonte still have aspirations to finish high school and go to college.

Asante Scott is 16 years old and his favorite sport to play is Rugby. The 14 minute game keeps Scott on his toes the entire time till he gets his victory. He also has interests in football and wrestling. There is a Fashion Design & Merchandising course held through the DMPS School system at Central Campus that he has his fingers crossed to enter in his Junior year. Upon completion of his high school diploma the colleges that are in mind for him are Baylor, Iowa State, and CAL for a Psychology Degree. In his off time he likes to play Fortnite.

Devonte Fristo is 15 years old and his favorite sport is Rugby and football as well. He gets a thrill of running the ball through the defensive team to achieve the win. His interest in fashion design has increased with the launch of his new company. We are sure that the Fashion & Design Merchandising course may have a thing or two to learn from this entrepreneur. The colleges that are in mind for Devonte are CAL, Oklahoma State, and LSU for a Fashion Design degree. In his off time he like to spend time with family and friends.
